Organized by the CA Montreuil 93 since 1959 the Challenge Facoetti-Dahm is the oldest race walking meeting in France that is held without interruption in the streets of Montreuil.

In the middle of the 50’s, the race walkers and managers of the CA Montreuil 93 used to meet at the Café near the Stade des Grands Pêchers, after the trainings or for meetings. The owner of this café, Mr. Angelo FACOETTI, often asked with insistence:
“Why don’t you organize a walking event in our neighborhood? “
